About Us
The Dam Bait Shop is a 100% Veteran Owned Business.
Zach Kiser, a native to the Tennessee Valley and a 20-year Navy veteran, retired in 2017. He is a well-traveled sailor who has fished in many countries, seas, and oceans. Since arriving back in Tennessee, Zach has regained his knowledge of the Tennessee Valley species of fishing to becoming an avid bass, catfish, crappie, and many other species aficionados.
Jennifer Kiser, a native of Washington State and Army veteran. She has been an avid angler of northwest species of fishing; Rainbow and Steelhead trout, Sockeye and Chinook salmon, and the world famous Alaskan Halibut.
What started out as a hobby, has become our passion and we're delighted to share it with you.
We’re proud to have served our country, and now can serve our local community anglers.
We were looking for a great location to open our brick and mortar building, but at the time just couldn’t find a location that best suited our needs. We are so passionate about being able to bring quality products closer to the lake. After many brainstorming sessions, driving and looking at places, we both thought… “Why not a mobile shop, like the food trucks?” So, after a year of researching and planning our thoughts have come to light. We are excited to introduce to you the first ever Tennessee Mobile Bait and Tackle Shop.
